INCEPTION PROJECT
Inspired by the film Inception, I created several different objects to capture the film's essence. First, I created color studies to understand what color schemes were used in the film. After some initial sketches, I developed a concept of boxes hidden within boxes in reference to the film's concept of "a dream within another dream" and secrets being safeguarded in people's minds. In the final stage, I created a fold-out book that played with the idea of different levels of dreams unfolding within another dream. It felt a little closer to what I was getting from Inception, but looking back on it, I still feel that I can push this project even further. I plan on continuing to work on this project in the future.
